Where potential trick-or-treater density is highest

Utah leads the states with published values, at 437.6 children age 5–14 per 10,000 housing units.

The ranking uses the latest source table in MoverMath: 2024 American Community Survey 5-year estimates. This is a Halloween proxy, not an observed count of participants, a candy-sales estimate, or a safety measure.

What this measures

MoverMath divides ACS-estimated children age 5–14 by ACS-estimated housing units, then expresses the result per 10,000 homes. It measures potential visitors relative to doors, not Halloween participation.
