Highest college football by state

Top-division college football teams.

Football Bowl Subdivision programmes, the top tier of college football. Lower divisions are not counted, so a state can have plenty of college football and still read zero. Clubs are placed in the county their stadium is in, as every other league here is. A zero means no club in the leagues listed here, not no sport: minor league baseball, lower college divisions and other leagues are not counted.
